About

I’m Cath Feely and I’m a social and cultural historian of modern Britain. My main research interests are in the history of reading, writing and publishing from c. 1800 to the present day, but I also have more general interests in public history, the relationship between history and heritage and material culture. I am a lecturer in History at the University of Derby, where I teach a wide range of courses in British and European history.

My University of Derby staff profile can be found here. For more information about my academic work and publications on my personal website, go here.
